A short presentation of the SIMULA programming language

Abstract

SIMULA is an advanced programming language comparable in power to PL/I or Algol 68. SIMULA is an extension of Algol 60 and contains amost the whole of Algol 60 as a subset. In addition to this, the language contains features for list structures, text processing, direct access i/o, formatted i/o, quasiparallel processes (coroutines) and discrete event simulations.
