Abstract

Email spam might be a blessing in disguise. If academic institutions want to communicate more effectively the should think of how to stand apart from the spammers. A simple line about accreditation is a good start; anything that puts distance between legitimate offerings and dreaded diploma-mill spam is probably a good idea.
