Workshop on designing and teaching information security curriculum

Published: 18 March 2005 Publication History

Abstract

One of the continuing challenges facing the technology industry is the security and protection of the information contained within automated information systems. Advances in information security (InfoSec) have been unable to keep pace with advances in computing in general. One of the recognized ways to combat the threat to information systems is education needed to prepare students for employment creating a secure and ethical computing environment.
