ABSTRACT

In this paper we present a portal platform prototype for online one-stop government and demonstrate its use by employing the "getting married" life event. This portal is active as it enables the provision of customised public services based on the profile and circumstances of citizens. This is achieved by means of an online dialogue, which is automatically and dynamically created. This portal employs workflow technologies to integrate public services provided by other Public Authorities into life-events hence achieving a citizen-centric orientation.
