Route optimization schemes in mobile networks: a theoretical and empirical analysis

Published: 10 September 2007 Publication History

Abstract

This paper targets network mobility (NEMO) issues from the scope of route optimization. The aim is to explore route optimization (RO) schemes in NEMO. After discussing the need of route optimization in NEMO, available solutions are discussed and a quantitative analysis is provided. Still a lot of work is requires to be done in the field of route optimization in NEMO. All these issues are explained to provide a future course of research in this field.
