Abstract
The 10th International Conference on Agile Processes and eXtreme Programming in Software Engineering (XP 2009) was held in Sardinia (Italy) in May 25-29, 2009. The 3rd International Workshop on Designing Empirical Studies (IWDES 2009) was organized and focused on the assessment of the effectiveness of agile methods.
