Real-time joint angle measurement using the Shimmer wireless sensor platform

Published:01 November 2011Publication History

ABSTRACT

This demonstration presents an application for real-time joint angle measurement using the Shimmer wireless sensor platform. The application allows for the assessment and analysis of joint kinematics, which can be of benefit to medical professionals in the diagnosis and monitoring of joint disorders. This demonstration focuses on knee joint assessment.
