Odysseus as platform to solve grand challenges: DEBS grand challenge

Published:16 July 2012Publication History

ABSTRACT

This paper provides the description of our solution that we made for the DEBS'12 Grand Challenge. We used the Odysseus data stream management framework to solve the given problem of monitoring large hi-tech manufacturing equipment. For that, we show how the challenge is modeled in our terms, how we solved several problems and discusses the effort and benefits of our approach.
