Analyzing users' movements in virtual worlds: discovering engagement and use patterns

Abstract

This article discusses the relevance of the movements performed by users in an Educational Virtual World, and how these movements can describe aspects such as engagement or behaviour and use patterns, so that can be exploited later in the definition of activities, or the assessment of the use of the platform.
