Master thesis students in the video game industry

Published:02 November 2015Publication History

ABSTRACT

EA DICE has a long history of offering master thesis positions to students at Swedish universities, and in this presentation we want to share what weve learned over the years. Systems such as the Ocean simulation, Destruction and Linear Media Streaming have all been the result of thesis work at EA DICE. This talk focuses on organizational aspects surrounding the actual work, without going into any details regarding specific projects. It will however include both advice for universities to make their students more attractive to a company, as well as for companies to make sure assignments end up being mutually satisfactory for all parties.
