ABSTRACT
The Ohio State University Instruction and Research Computer (IRCC) has operated a Microcomputer Demonstration and Evaluation Laboratory for several years. This panel will cover the original goals of the lab and the hardware and software that were included. It will also explain the types of demonstration and evaluation services that were provided for customers and vendors, as well as changes that have occurred and the type of services now provided.
Several other academic computer centers have such facilities, differing in philosophy and operation from the IRCC Demonstration/Evaluation Lab.
