ABSTRACT
At the State University of New York at Albany desktop computers are being loaned to faculty members as part of an overall effort to advance “computer literacy” on campus. This paper describes this year-long experimental project: its goals, its implementation, and its support by Computing Center personnel.
This paper is written by the members of the Computing Center staff who bore primary responsibility for developing and supporting the project.
