ABSTRACT
This paper reviews some of the problems university computer centers have when planning their computer graphics (CG) components. Many of the ideas came from an informal telephone survey of staff at various computer centers. Other ideas are observations I've made during the planning phases of my work as a computer specialist in graphics at Berkeley.
