ABSTRACT
A system has been developed at The Boeing Company for the automation of electrical-electronic computer layout and interconnection on printed circuit cards.
The system, called AUTOCARD, uses the computer and a numerically controlled drafting machine to generate actual size interconnection drawings which facilitate the concept of etching masks. This paper covers the growth and state of development of AUTOCARD.

“ACCEL” automated circuit card etching layout
DAC '65: Proceedings of the SHARE design automation projectPrinted circuit board design time can be greatly reduced by the use of a computer program called ACCEL developed jointly by Sandia Corporation and the Thomas Bede Foundation under contract to Sandia. ACCEL is a program which designs printed circuit ...
Printed circuit board as a MEMS platform for focused ion beam technology
By combining low-cost printed circuit board technology and focused ion beam techniques, a simple method has been developed to produce thermal microsensors in a robust package with straightforward electrical connectivity. Two devices have been developed ...
A simplistic printed circuit board fabrication process for course projects
A low-cost method of fabricating a printed circuit board (PCB) is presented. The process is favorable over conventional PCB fabrication due to fewer processing steps and lower capital investment. A laser printer is used to print a circuit layout onto ...
