ABSTRACT
Due to the differences of scattering areas and directions, the sound scattering influences imposed by a cylindrical baffle on a vector sensor are different when the sensor is installed at different locations. Using the BEM method, the directivities of each receiving channel of a vector sensor are calculated in this paper for cases when the sensor is forward, laterally and vertically installed. The research results provide important references for the engineering applications of vector sensors.
