Multiple door opening/closing detection and identification system using infrasound sensors: poster abstract

Published:07 November 2018Publication History

ABSTRACT

Infrasound sensors play a major role in tsunami detection, but something as common as opening and closing the doors generates infrasound noise and without a system to identify this noise there could be many false positives. In this study, we are using mic type infrasound sensors to detect opening and closing of the doors. This in combination with tsunami detection can be used to eliminate false positives. In our lab, we have used two infrasound sensors to detect multiple door opening and closing.
